So tempting...

Would it be too fangirl-ish to make a Twitter account solely to follow Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Jun's supposed accounts? I'm hoping it will bring me one step closer to meeting Kim Hyung Jun and jumping/marrying him.

Too bad my Korean isn't good enough to understand most of the tweets. I guess that's what Babel Fish is for.

Yay for SS501 finishing up their Asia Tour! Hope they release a full length album and not a mini-album in May! ^^

I actually wrote a blog entry about Hyung Joon's MBCGame show about a week ago but didn't get around to molding it into an actual post. And since I'm too lazy to refine it, I'm going to straight up cut and paste (with a little editing here and there).

I was reading some comments on the show on a StarCraft forum/website and although they weren't necessarily always positive comments, the fact remains that there were A TONNE of them. Which means that Hyung Jun is at least getting exposure, if for nothing other than being that "pretty boy singer" who's anticipated to fail.
It's amusing though because most of the people on the forum are relatively clueless about SS501 or K-Pop on a whole but on the flipside most of the people on a K-Pop forum are clueless about StarCraft. Same comments, different subject.

Ironically, I had the sudden desire to play StarCraft when I went back home over Christmas break, and this was even before I heard about Hyung Jun's new show. Watching the show itself brings back memories though and makes me want to play it again even more.

I watched the 3rd episode tonight and not only is it hilariously funny but I also really like how relaxed Hyung Jun is in this show, especially compared to his last few appearances on variety shows, etc when SS501 was promoting "Love Like This". Also, his hair looks MUCH better, thank you cordi nuna. 형준, 화이팅!

Exercise for the year, check

I went snowboarding for the first time yesterday and although it was a tonne of fun, I woke up this morning afternoon with my whole body stiff/sore. I'm sure it would hurt less if 1) I could stop falling on my butt every few feet and 2) if I actually moved more on a day-to-day basis. It was definitely worth it though, and I'm glad that I got the chance to try it out.

I also started watching プロポーズ大作戦 [Proposal Daisakusen] with Yamashita Tomohisa after losing interest in 아가씨를 부탁해 [Take Care of the Young Lady] with Yoon Eun Hye after the 3rd episode. I was hoping the latter would be good after having watched 커피프린스 1호점 [Coffee Prince] but it actually wasn't all that interesting. I've only watched the first episode of Proposal Daisakusen so far but it seems like it might be cute. Not quite as impressed with Yamashita Tomohisa's character as I was with Kurosagi but we'll see how it goes.

I saw a clip of Kim Hyung Jun pretending to be his younger brother Kim Ki Bum (of U-Kiss) on some show, trying to get screen time as usual but it was so hilariously cute! The crew was there to interview Kim Ki Bum and instead found Kim Hyung Jun who tried worming his way into replacing his own brother. Which failed when Kim Ki Bum walked up and asked him what he was doing haha.
I also saw a preview of his upcoming appearance on Progamer (not 100% about the name) and he looked really good. Maybe because he seemed more relaxed? Changed his hair? I dunno, but whatever it is I hope he keeps it up. Otherwise I'll have to think about switching favourites. Just kidding, of course! ^^

Jung Min's image is too sexy

I just watched the episode of 강심장 [Strong Heart] that aired on December 15th 2009. It's the second episode that had SS501's Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min, and Kim Hyung Jun as guests. Hyun Joong is hella funny as usual (can that man ooze any more charisma than he already does?), and Hyung Jun is as desperate as ever to show himself off lol. Of course, that's part of Hyung Jun's charm... trying too hard and looking immensely proud of himself afterward. Ahh, so cute.

At the same time, there's something off about him lately, appearance-wise. I don't know if it's his hair colour, make-up, clothes, weight loss, old age or what but he doesn't look as smoking hot as he did during the U R Man promotions. I was watching the Japan mini concert that the SS501 project group (Young Saeng, Kyu Jong, Hyung Jun) held in March 2009 and Hyung Jun looks so much more carefree and... yummy. And just generally, his personality on variety shows is different compared to before, much more seemingly forced than it used to be.

That being said, I enjoy watching their old M!Pick episodes, mainly because all of the members are very open and carefree, being on the brink of debut and at the very beginning of their career and also because it seems like there's SO MUCH Hyung Jun. Everywhere. Always talking. And it's awesome.

P.S. The title's misleading isn't it... I haven't mentioned Jung Min at all in this post. He didn't really have too much face time in this episode of 강심장 (there was more of him in the previous episode) but I liked his indignation at Hyung Jun's choice of Hyun Joong for reincarnation, to which Hyung Jun's reply was along the lines of "Jung Min's image is too sexy; I'd be tired of doing waves everyday." It's probably true. XD

Sell a kidney? Maybe two?

Ah, it's that time of year when money seems to run through your fingers like sand. Though truthfully, this year it's been less because of the gift-buying and more because of the selfish clothes-buying haha. I guess it's my Christmas gift to myself? (Wonder if the SS501 U R Man 2-disc DVD wouldn't have been a better self-gift... at the very least it would have been better eye candy :3 ...yummy.)

Personally, I think Hyung Jun needs to reconnect with some of his previous looks, particularly the 'U R Man' one. Every time I watch a 'Love Like This' performance I think that cordi nuna needs to be shot. I don't really like the hair colour itself either, I think dark hair looks the best on him... but not the side-swept bangs like what he sports now. And his I'm-trying-too-hard-to-garner-more-love thing on variety shows is a whole other story/post. No matter what though, 막내 Hyung Jun is still <3.
